Objectives- Promote expression. Calm the anxious by calling it out through expression. Engage the uncomfortable.
Reasons- People need an outlet to be creative, and they won’t use it if they don’t see the importance or comfortability in it. There is no doubt that we suppress feelings and emotions, and sometimes we don’t even know we’re doing it. Detaching ourselves from the technological world and resting in the tactile for even just a moment often resets and releases the suppression of thoughts.
Do you ever just stop and take a moment to breathe and pray, only to suddenly burst into tears?
Without art, the banality of reality would be intolerable.

Great objectives. Try making a statement that also includes some context.
“The use of tactile artistic expression engages the uncomfortable and encourages the reduction of anxiety.
I propose the development of a toolkit for adults to be able to use artistic expression as an everyday means of promoting positive mental health.”
